Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad ("Takaful Malaysia") clinched the coveted BrandLaureate Award 2010-2011 in the Corporate Branding Category for Best Brands in Financial Services - Insurance Takaful for the second year running.

Accepting the award, Y.Bhg. Dato' Mohamed Hassan Kamil, the Group Managing Director stated "It is indeed exhilarating to be once again, acknowledged as the best and top branding Company amongst the Takaful fraternity, especially by a distinguished organization like the BrandLaureate. This evening's Brand Laureate award marks the positive end result from the hard work and commitment of all our personnel in Takaful Malaysia. Without a doubt, this award will further spur all personnel to continue to serve the company and its customers more efficiently and effectively, in achieving our aspiring vision of becoming "the preferred choice for insurance".

Furthermore, this prestigious award also provides validation to the company's efforts for its aggressive previous rebranding campaign and multiple Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts via its "myJalinan" CSR series.

The BrandLaureate Awards 2010-2011 for Corporate Branding recognizes Multinational (MNCs), Public Listed Companies (PLCs), Trans-national Corporation (TNCs), Government Linked Companies (GLCs) and Large Corporations (LCs), which have built a successful brand and strong brand identity. Other Corporate Branding Winners for this year included 3M, Bank Islam, KPJ HealthCare Berhad, KTM Berhad, MayFlower and few others.

Takaful Malaysia telah meraih Hadiah Bahasa Institusi Kewangan (Kategori Takaful) 2010 sempena Bulan Bahasa Kebangsaan 2010 di Majlis Penghargaan Bulan Bahasa Kebangsaan 2010 pada 22 Disember 2010.

Projek Hadiah Bahasa Institusi Kewangan ini telah dianjurkan oleh Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) dengan kerjasama Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) bagi mengembang dan meningkatkan kualiti penggunaan bahasa kebangsaan di dalam pelbagai sektor perniagaan. Selain daripada itu, inisiatif ini juga bertujuan untuk memupuk kesedaran tentang kepentingan bahasa kebangsaan sebagai bahasa ilmu, intelektual dan perpaduan.

Takaful Malaysia received the most sought-after BrandLaureate Award 2009/2010 in the Corporate Branding Category for Best Brands in Financial Services – Takaful Insurance.

The award was presented by the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Idris Jala.

This coveted accolade underlines Takaful Malaysia's well-recognised brand, outstanding business performance and noble CSR initiatives.

Takaful Malaysia won the 'Most Advanced Implementer of Q-Radar' Award 2010'. The award was presented by Tan Sri Dr. Hadenan A. Jalil to Takaful Malaysia.

This prestigious award marks Takaful Malaysia's sound capability in implementing a comprehensive risk management programme -- optimising the use of Tricor-Roots Consulting's Q-Radar, a Governance, Risk & Compliance System. 

Winners were judged based on the comprehensiveness of the risk management programme implemented at the company in terms of institutionalising risk management, risk intelligence capabilities, risk monitoring process and how the company's risk management process supports the achievement of its corporate objectives. This methodology is based on the Australian New Zealand Standards AS4360 and the newly published ISO31000 on Risk Management.

Takaful Malaysia and the Group Managing Director, Y.Bhg. Dato' Mohamed Hassan Kamil won major awards at the 2nd Global Awards 2009. The Company clinched the Global Award (Diamond Winner Category), while the Group Managing Director was chosen as the recipient of the 'Smart Entrepreneur' Award.

Y.B Dato' Wira Chor Chee Heong, Deputy Finance Minister and Y.B Senator Dato' IR. Wong Foon Meng, Yg Di-Pertua Dewan Negara gave away the much anticipated awards.

The Global Award, Diamond Winner's criteria requires listed companies, MNCs or GLCs to project continuous business growth, responsible social citizen coupled with innovative branding initiatives, whilst the 'Smart Entrepreneur' Award is based on the winner's capability to position the company and business approach, to help further the 1Malaysia philosophy.
