What are the benefits provided?

What are the benefits provided?
|
|
In the event of Death or Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) of Participant, the higher of guaranteed Sum Covered or Net Asset Value (NAV) of the investment funds will be paid to the nominee to execute disbursement to the beneficiaries.
|
|
You can choose the Sum Covered amount based on the Contribution you would like to pay, subject to a minimum forty (40) times of the takaful Contribution (please refer to Exhibit 1 for calculations of Takaful Contribution and Investment Contribution).
|
|
If Option 1 of benefit payment is selected: During staggered payment period, a predefined percentage of the NAV of the investment funds at the next valuation date after the payment due date less any indebtedness will be payable (for the final payment at maturity) to the Participant.
|
|
If Option 2 of benefit payment is selected: On maturity, the NAV of the investment funds at the next valuation date after the maturity date less any indebtedness will be payable to the Participant.
|
|
The NAV of investment funds are not guaranteed and based on the actual performance of the fund. Please refer to the Certificate for detailed descriptions of benefits covered under this plan.

Who is eligible to participate?
|
|
Children who are between 30 days old to age 15 are eligible to participate in Takaful myGraduan (subject to underwriting assessment). Your children will further enjoy the benefits up to expiry age of 22.

The above-mentioned investment funds will be managed by the Investment Division of Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad. The investment team comprises a group of professional portfolio managers and investment research analysts who possess an average cumulative experience of 14 years in fund management and had previously managed more than RM7 billion worth of funds.

NOTE*: The selection of investable securities is conducted in a systematic manner where the investment process is governed by internal policies. In addition to that, the systematic investment process is strictly guided by the Company’s Shariah Advisory Body to ensure that the Shariah principles are not compromised in every investment decision made.
