As part of Our Social Commitments — one of our core sustainability pillars — Takaful Malaysia participated in the Majlis Tahlil Perdana held at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) on 16 June 2025. The event was held in remembrance of the students who tragically lost their lives in the UPSI bus crash in Gerik, Perak.
 
Representing Takaful Malaysia, our Head of Compliance, En. Redzuan Abu, presented a mock cheque worth RM72,000.00 to the Tabung UPSI Prihatin: Mangsa Nahas Gerik. The handover was made to YB Dato’ Seri Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, Minister of Higher Education and was witnessed by YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, Chief Minister of Perak.
