The Houseowners plan covers your house structure including the walls, roof, fixtures and fittings, garages, gates and fences. The Householders plan covers your house contents like household goods, personal effects and other moveable possessions.

 

This scheme provides coverage in the event of loss or damage caused by any of the following:

 

  • Fire, lightning, thunderbolt, subterranean fire
  • Damages caused by aircraft and impact by vehicles or animals
  • Bursting or overflowing of water tanks or pipes
  • Theft and burglary
  • Flood, hurricane, cyclone, typhoon, windstorm
  • Loss of rent
  • Third party liability

 

In addition, our customers will be rewarded with cash back should there be no claims within the coverage period.

FAQ

The total annual contribution that you have to pay will be based on the sum covered selected: 

  1. Houseowner’s Cover – Only Construction class 1A & 1B are acceptable. Subject to a minimum contribution of RM60.00
  2. Householder’s Cover – Only Construction class 1A is acceptable. Subject to a minimum contribution of RM60.00

This Product does not cover certain losses, such as: 

  1. War, invasion, the act of a foreign enemy, hostilities or any act of terrorism.
  2. Order of the government or Public Municipal or Local Authority.
  3. Nuclear weapons or ionizing radiations or contaminations.
  4. Consequential loss or damage of any nature.
  5. Property damage to data or software
  6. Loss or damage due to theft by your domestic servants or any member of your family and household.
  7. Beer, liquor, pictures of animals or things used for religious purposes such as idols. 
  8. The “Liability to the Public” section does not cover any asbestos-related injury or damage involving the use, presence, existence, detection, removal, elimination or avoidance of asbestos or exposure or potential exposure to asbestos.
  9. Any other events prohibited by Shariah principles.

You may cancel your certificate at any time by giving written notice to us. Upon cancellation, you are entitled to a partial refund of the contribution provided you have not made any claim.

The benefit(s) payable under eligible product is protected by Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM) up to limits. Please refer to PIDM’s Takaful and Insurance Benefits Protection System (TIPS) Brochure or contact Takaful Malaysia or PIDM (visit www.pidm.gov.my/en).
